WHO WE ARE

Resilience, Environment, and Humanitarian Aid (REHA) is a non-governmental organization (NGO) that operates as a not-for-profit and non-political entity. It is officially registered with the Ministry of Economy under license No. 5516. REHA specializes in various fields, including environmental protection, climate change adaptation, disaster risk reduction, agriculture and livelihood, and humanitarian assistance.

As an organization, REHA is committed to fulfilling its mission through a wide range of interventions. These interventions encompass both “hard” and “soft” approaches, addressing the needs of individuals and communities affected by climate change impacts, environmental issues, natural disasters, and humanitarian crises.

The term “hard interventions” typically refers to tangible actions and measures such as infrastructure development, engineering solutions, or physical projects aimed at mitigating the effects of climate change and hazards. On the other hand, “soft interventions” encompass non-physical and capacity-building initiatives such as training programs, knowledge sharing, awareness campaigns, advocacy efforts, and policy development.

Our Vision

Promoting gender-inclusive resilience in communities for a sustainable future.

Our Mission

Strengthening community resilience in the face of climate change and disasters, while promoting a sustainable environment, renewable energy and water solutions, climate-smart agriculture, and livelihood opportunities.

HOW WE WORK

Resilience, coping, and adaptive capacity of communities have been strengthened through implementing Disaster Risk Management (DRM), Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR), Nature-based Solutions (NbS), Adaptation and Mitigation projects, and interventions against disaster, emergencies, impacts of climate change and environmental degradation.

Communities have access to viable agricultural livelihoods and environmental services through implementing climate-resilient irrigation, livestock, farming, forestry, watershed, agricultural technology, and agricultural extension and training projects and interventions.

Communities, indigents, and victims of crises and emergencies have timely access to humanitarian aid through Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene (WASH), nutrition (NUT), food security, and agriculture (FSA) assistance projects with thorough fairness and honesty.
