									<h3>Consultation on Climate change!</h3>
<p>Resilience, Environment and Humanitarian Aid (REHA) Organization organized a roundtable discussion on climate change impact in Wardak province. The objective of the event was to raise the awareness of local government experts and officials in regard to climate change and collect their feedback, perception, ideas and expectations in regard to combat climate change. The event was attended by 50 participants including deputy governor, five district governors, directors of agriculture, public health, rural rehabilitation, mayor, environmental protection, economy, urban development, river basin, sport, transport and local NGOs among others. REHA delivered a detailed presentation on climate change, its drivers, impacts, challenges and opportunities to enhance the understanding of local official and stakeholders on this topic.</p>
<p>Followed be an open discussion under four thematic areas – climate change impacts on agriculture, ecosystem, water resources, climate-induced disasters, and urban environment with specific questions to get feedback of the participants. The discussion continued almost two hours and receiving eye-witnessed and practical examples of climate change on water, agriculture, poverty and livelihood, health and others. The event was coordinated with the provincial NEPA in Wardak province. As a result, a detailed report will be developed and shared with relevant stakeholders to use it for planning, resource mobilization, awareness and other purposes.</p>								</div>
