Prevention of Fraud, Corruption, and Conflicts of Interest

REHA is committed to protecting its resources, operations, and reputation from fraud, corruption, bribery, favoritism, and other improper practices. Organizational decisions should be made in the best interests of REHA and the communities it serves, without inappropriate personal, financial, or external influence. Employees and representatives should disclose actual, potential, or perceived conflicts of interest and avoid using their positions for personal benefit. Financial transactions, procurement activities, recruitment, and the allocation of organizational resources should be handled fairly and documented appropriately. Concerns about suspected wrongdoing should be reported and reviewed through suitable procedures, with due regard for confidentiality, fairness, and the protection of individuals who raise concerns in good faith.

Code of Conduct and Ethical Standards

REHA expects its employees, management, volunteers, consultants, and representatives to act with honesty, professionalism, fairness, and respect in carrying out their responsibilities. All personnel should perform their duties in a manner that protects the dignity and rights of others, supports equal treatment, and maintains public confidence in the organization. Discrimination, harassment, intimidation, abuse of authority, and other forms of misconduct are inconsistent with these principles. Personnel are expected to understand their responsibilities, follow applicable organizational policies, protect confidential information, and report suspected misconduct through appropriate channels. Ethical conduct is an important part of maintaining a safe, respectful, and accountable working environment.

Safeguarding, Respect, and Confidential Reporting

REHA seeks to promote a safe and respectful environment for staff, volunteers, partners, community members, and people participating in its programs. Everyone representing the organization is expected to treat others with dignity and avoid conduct that may cause harm, exploitation, abuse, harassment, or intimidation. Concerns involving inappropriate behavior or possible violations of organizational standards should be handled seriously, sensitively, and through appropriate reporting and response procedures. Information should be shared only with authorized individuals when necessary, and reports should be assessed fairly and without unnecessary delay. REHA aims to ensure that concerns can be raised without retaliation and that appropriate action is taken when misconduct is substantiated.
